Are you the system manager who enjoys tackling complex issues regarding the latest techniques and technologies of Azure, Office365, Intune and Hyper-V, for example? 


IT-Workz is looking for a system manager for the Service delivery department. As the manager within the technical management team, you will be able to solve problems for the client time and again, you will be responsible for implementing mutations and you will be able to tackle more complex issues concerning innovative techniques and cloud technologies, including Azure, Office365, Endpoint Manager and Hyper-V, together with your team. You are also proactively involved in preventing (security) problems in the cloud, in our data centre or at clients’ locations. Your ideas on how to conduct the work more smartly will be appreciated, embraced and you will be given the necessary leeway to implement them together with your colleagues. 

What will you be doing? 

  • Solving (complex) technical problems on servers and in server applications (SQL VoIP environments, IIS, etc.). This mainly within Azure and Office365 and for practically all Microsoft products; 
  • Implementing mutations and tests within these IT environments; 
  • Independently providing ideas on improving the services and detecting opportunities; 
  • Safeguarding processes for the quality and stability of services provided to our clients: 
  • Participating in stand-by shifts (approximately 6 times per year).

What are you bringing?

  • Proven completed MBO+  education and HBO level of working and thinking; 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ comparable working experience;
  • Preferably holding (but otherwise willing to undertake);
  • Microsoft certification MCSA;
  • Azure certification; 
  • ITIL 4;
  • Knowledge of and experience with ITIL. 

Technical skills: 

  • Vast knowledge of and proven working experience with Microsoft Cloud services (such as Azure, Endpoint Manager and Office365) and with Microsoft products (including Hyper-V, SCOM, SCCM, etc.); 
  • Data centre environments (HPE Servers); 
  • Knowledge of and experience with macOS and Linux is advantageous.
