As a project leader at IT-Workz, you are the spider in the web for implementation of new services, products and assignments for our clients. You are hereby responsible for achieving the agreed end results in a variety of internal and external ICT projects. These projects may vary in scope from 20 to approximately 3,000 hours, and concern both automation and IT projects. The large-scale projects may be European tenders. You are also actively involved in pre-sales during supervision of large-scale projects. 

Your tasks / responsibilities are: 

  • Formulating project plans and determining the necessary resources; 
  • Providing leadership to various project teams, comprising professional engineers and developers; 
  • Compiling the project team in consultation with the client and the responsible department; 
  • Monitoring and managing the project scope, quality, costs and risks; 
  • Close gearing with the project stakeholders: with the client, the line managers who make capacity available, the engineers, the users of the result, the steering group(s) and the sounding board group(s); 
  • Ensuring transfer of the project results to the client’s end users and management organisation of IT-Workz or the client; 
  • Pioneering role for continuous improvement of internal and external processes.

What are you bringing? 

  • Minimum HBO level of working and thinking; Preferably concluded education in (business) informatics or technical business management; 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervising complex infrastructural IT projects and Cloud computing; 
  • Knowledge of and experience with Prince2, SCRUM, Agile or other project management methods and ITIL; 
  • Experience with and knowledge of 1 or more technologies such as: Microsoft (Azure, SCCM, App-V, Office 365), Cisco, Identity and Access management; 
  • You are ambitious in a healthy sense, stress-resistant, show initiative and are results oriented; 
  • You are very approachable, have strong communication skills and can render the team enthusiastic; 
  • Knowledge of Lean (Six Sigma) and educational processes is advantageous.
